Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse

to join a friendly and supportive team near Crawley on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

12-month fixed-term maternity cover

£23/hour (D.O.E.)

4 to 5 days per week

Varied and rewarding caseload

Opportunity to make an impact in a team-focused setting

Ideal Candidate Profile

8 years of experience across independent and branch practices

RVN qualified since 2017

Confident in both sole charge and team-based settings

Competent in all routine nursing duties including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, consulting, and schedule 3 procedures

BVNA Oral Care Certificate holder

Proven experience developing nurse clinics and mentoring junior team members

Previous head nurse experience with leadership, appraisals, and practice operations

Comfortable working with exotics and small animals

Adaptable, friendly, and confident using various clinical systems
