Locum Dentist / York, North Yorkshire / Mondays & Thursdays

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in York, North Yorkshire to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Vacancy Details:

• Available from October 2026.
• Ongoing for up to 6 months (maternity cover).
• Part time opportunity, 2 days per week.
• Locum Dentist required Mondays and Thursdays (phone number removed)pm.
• Position belongs to an independently owned dental group.

Remuneration:

• Up to -500 per day or -14 per UDA - depending on preference.
• 50% split on Private in addition to day rate or UDA rate.
• Locum will manage a predominantly NHS list.
• Stable list of patients.
• Dentist will be paid on a monthly basis.

Practice Overview:

• Busy 9 surgery dental practice.
• Computerised (SOE), Digital X-Rays, Rotary Endo, and Intra Oral Cameras.
• FD training practice with 3 trainers on site.
• Dentist will have the support of a Hygienist and onsite Technician.
• Practice offers General Dentistry plus Implants.
• Free onsite parking available.

Essential Requirements:

• GDC Registered Dentist
• NHS Performer Number
• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
