Overview

Locum Consultant in Pain Medicine with a special interest in Paediatric Pain, based at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This is a full-time post for 12 months.Responsibilities

Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of patients.Share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of patients.Promote new ways of working and coordinating care for patients in the community, ensuring services are based on effective and integrated partnerships across the health community.Take part in multidisciplinary case conferences.Supervise and train junior medical staff.Be involved in appraising and assessing juniors.Teaching, research and administration.Proactively develop the service.Actively participate in departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.Qualifications and requirements

This post is suitable for either single specialty Pain Medicine or those dual trained in Anaesthesia; please contact to discuss potential job plans.
