RIG Locums is assisting our NHS Client in Greater London/Kent who are looking for a Locum Paediatric Consultant with a special interest in Diabetes for a three-month contract to cover special leave. This is an opportunity to work in a progressive and enthusiastic General Paediatric team in a modern, well-equipped department. The post is full-time (10PA), and the locum must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT.The successful applicant will join an existing team of General Paediatric Consultants with various special interests, supported by Specialty Doctors and Specialist Registrars in the Paediatric Directorate. The role involves managing Paediatric Diabetes services, running one MDT Paediatric Diabetes clinic per week, supporting general paediatric services, and conducting three general paediatric clinics weekly. Responsibilities include participation in the 1:10 Consultant on-call rota and a 1:10 ‘Consultant of the week’ model on both the Neonatal Unit and General Paediatric wards on alternate weeks.This position is based across two sites on the South East London Borders.
