Locum Consultant Dermatologist – NHS And Private – London:

National Locums is hiring a

Consultant Dermatologist

on a locum or full-time basis. This position is based in

London

within an NHS/private hospital setting.

CompensationThe pay rate ranges from

£800 to £2000 per day , depending on the candidate''s experience. Payments can be processed through a limited company or self-employed options via a private service provider. UK experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

See and treat patients with conditions such as minor-ops, Botox and fillers, biologics, and 2-week wait clinics.

Share clinical responsibilities within the department, with flexible hours including part-time, full-time, or weekends.

Supervise nurse-led clinics.

Provide management advice to GPs where appropriate.

Job DetailsThe position is based on a 10 PA contract, but applications for 1-2 days per week are welcome.

Knowledge and Skills

Broad expertise in medical and surgical dermatology, including management of acute dermatoses.

Special interest and expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Experience

Equivalent to UK CCST in Dermatology.

Ability to provide expert opinions on dermatological issues.

Independent responsibility for patient care.

Experience supervising care of patients with chronic skin conditions.

Supervised training in an appropriate SpR training programme or equivalent.
