The Radiology department based in an NHS trust in the Midlands are looking for a locum Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist to start immediately on a 6 month contract in the first instance.The successful candidate will join an existing team of 4 WTE Radiologists within a department of 48 WTE Consultant Radiologists. The trust is one of the top 5 largest Cardiothoracic surgery centres in the UK and is in the top 3 busiest regional major trauma centres in the UK.The job plan will include:Thoracic reportingThoracic interventionHRCT reportingLung and ILD MDTAcute CT reportingCMEOn-call (1:19)The appointed Radiologist would be expected to engage with the imaging department service delivery including on-call and cross-site cover with another site. A desirable attribute would be the ability to contribute to the service for USS and CT guided drains. There is also opportunity to engage in further sub-specialty interest including Lymphoma (haematology) imaging and MDT and Skin imaging and MDT.You must hold full the following in order to be considered:GMC license to practise.FRCR or equivalentFellowshipFull right to work.Minimum 12 months NHS experience in Cardiothoracic ..... full job details .....
