Locum Band 6 Inpatient CAMHS Practitioner (RMN / Occupational Therapist) Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire, WN8Contract: Locum - Full-time, Mon-FriHourly Rate: 26+ per hourStart Date: ASAPDuration: 3 - 6 months (with potential for extension) We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to a our specialist Inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) on a locum basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to young people experiencing acute mental health difficulties. This role is open to Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs), and Occupational Therapists with relevant experience in inpatient or intensive CAMHS settings. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support to young people admitted to the CAMHS inpatient unitParticipate in daily ward rounds, care planning, and multi-disciplinary reviewsConduct comprehensive risk assessments and support the development of risk management plansSupport recovery-focused discharge planning in collaboration with community teams and familiesAct as a named/key worker for allocated service usersContribute to maintaining a safe and structured environment through de-escalation and therapeutic engagementMaintain high standards of documentation in line with trust and professional guidelines RequirementsProfessional registration with NMC (RMN), or HCPC (Occupational Therapist)Minimum of 1 ..... full job details .....
