Local Authority Private Housing Standards Officer West London Pay rate up to £40 per hour Contract role, Local Government Housing We are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Private Housing Standards Officer in West London Your responsibilities will include: To contribute to improving the quality of the private sector housing stock and ensure the sector can fulfil its potential in meeting housing need in the Borough. You will contribute directly towards the improvement of private sector dwelling conditions across the Borough through a variety of informal and formal enforcement action and policy development. The postholder will work as part of a team in investigating and resolving housing condition complaints and reports of sub-standard houses of multiple occupation in accordance with the Housing Act 2004, Housing Health and Safety Rating System and council policy and procedures. You will need to have experience of HMO licensing, poor living standards, HHSRS and environmental health?
