You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Housing Department. Overview:The team manage the day-to-day operation of the Council''s two gypsy and traveller sites at Kempston Hardwick and Meadow Lane consisting of approximately 38 plots in total. Day to day activities are essential statutory functions responsible for include dealing with frequent repairs and maintenance requests, tenant behaviour issues, responding to reports of flytipping and other low level criminality, liaising with the Police and other enforcement teams, providing support to both tenants and the wider gypsy and traveller community to access services such as education, social services, health etc, administering the application and allocation of plots process and responding to reports of illegal encampments, undertaking welfare checks, preparing legal documents to facilitate eviction from council land and arranging necessary clearance of waste ...</description>
