Local Authority and Community Partnerships Officer

Are you passionate about building strong partnerships between local authorities, communities, and key stakeholders? Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, an independent not-for-profit organisation on a mission to stop the valuable, critical and finite materials inside electricals from going to waste. Together with partners, the organisation is transforming the UK''s e-waste system and empowering more people to reuse and recycle their electricals through the award-winning UK-wide Recycle Your Electricals campaign, for the good of people, our economy, and our planet. Within this Local Authority and Community Partnerships Officer role, you will help support local authority partners, ensuring that communications materials are effectively delivered to local residents and communities to make it easier for them to recycle their electricals. You will work closely with local authorities, councils, and other local partners to help maximise engagement at a local level. You will sit in the Environmental Partnerships team, working directly with the Environmental Partnerships Lead, but will feed into other areas of the organisation with potential to work closely with the projects team as well as the Local Partnerships Marketing Manager.
