The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a loading shovel, alongside carrying out a variety of general yard duties to support daily site operations. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic, commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures. Load and unload materials into vehicles, hoppers, stockpiles, and processing equipment. Assist with the movement, sorting, and storage of materials around the yard. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements. Ensure stockpiles are maintained safely and accurately. Keep work areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
