About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Live Smart Scheme Manager to oversee an over-55s housing scheme in Luton.This is a temporary position created to provide cover following the departure of a permanent member of staff. The building is also currently in the process of being disposed of, so the role is expected to last for up to 18 months, or until the final resident has moved out, whichever comes first.The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting residents, maintaining the smooth running of the scheme and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain regular contact with residents to check on their well being and ensure they are safe and well.Follow an agreed schedule of resident welfare checks, ensuring all relevant residents are contacted as required.Carry out regular health and safety checks throughout the scheme.Report any concerns, issues or maintenance requirements appropriately and follow up where necessary.Maintain accurate records and complete relevant administrative tasks.Build positive and professional relationships with residents, contractors and other relevant parties.Visit residents within their homes as part of the role, while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.Support the day-to-day management and smooth running of the housing scheme.Escalate any concerns regarding residents or the building in line with relevant procedures.About YouWe are looking for someone who ..... full job details .....
