Live-In Caretaker 21 hours per week Mon to Fri 8am to 12pm and 1 hour Saturday mornings Chelsea, London SW3 13,500 plus one bedroom accommodation Our client is now recruiting for a responsible, reliable and experienced caretaker with some basic technical/maintenance knowledge to take care of a private residential apartment block in Chelsea. These are part time working hours only although as the role comes with accommodation all paid for the Caretaker will be on call outside of those hours for any utter emergencies such as maintenance faults, leaks etc. The role comes with a one bedroom accommodation and includes the benefit of rent, utilities and Council tax all paid for. The role will involve the day-to-day cleaning of the communal areas, security and fire prevention checks, and resident support, to ensure that the building remains well-kept, safe, and compliant with all necessary regulations. In addition to the cleaning and security duties you will be expected to maintain a daily logbook to record incidents, maintenance issues, and resident concerns, assist with arranging and overseeing contractor visits, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in a timely matter, conduct weekly fire safety checks, conduct basic handyman duties, and carry out any reasonable additional tasks requested by Managing Agent that support the efficient running of the building.
