Live In Care Assistant

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants - car drivers preferred -  to join our growing team. As a carer, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes and the local community, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, meeting new people, and making a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks (e.g. washing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist with medication reminders and administration (where required)
• Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping trips, or community activities
• Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the care coordinator
• Ensure dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• FULL RIGHTS TO WORK IN THE UK
• Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential – full training provided
• A kind, empathetic, and patient approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
