Live in Carer – Ottery St Mary

Nurse Seekers are currently looking for a dedicated and caring Live-in Carer to support a client close to Ottery St Mary, Devon. If you''re empathetic, reliable, and want to make a genuine difference in someone''s life, we''d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Live-in Carer, you’ll reside in the client’s home and provide one-on-one support tailored to their individual care plan. Your daily tasks may include:

• Personal Care
• Medication Support
• Meal Preparation and Household Tasks
• Companionship and Emotional Support
• Mobility Assistance and Enabling Activities
• Working closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

What We’re Looking For

• A kind, patient and respectful attitude
• Previous care experience
• Excellent communication in English (spoken and written)
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• A flexible and proactive approach to care
• Willingness to undergo training and ongoing development
• Ability to commit to a live-in rota

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience
• Manual handling and mobility support
• Medication administration
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
