A well-established, full-service regional law firm with a strong presence across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire is seeking a General Litigation Solicitor to join its growing dispute resolution team.

The Role

You will handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including:

• General civil and commercial disputes
• Property litigation and landlord & tenant matters
• Contractual disputes
• Contentious probate (desirable)
• Employment disputes (desirable)

The role will involve managing files from instruction through to resolution, including court proceedings where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters independently
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal correspondence
• Advising clients on legal strategy and risk
• Representing clients in negotiations and settlement discussions
• Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties
• Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in general litigation
• Confident handling your own caseload
• Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
