Junior Solicitor / NQ Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer Location: East Sussex Job Type: Full-Time, Office-Based - 37.5 hours per week (with some flex to c35 hours) Annual Salary: 45k per annum Join my clients specialist Property Disputes Team as a Junior Solicitor, Newly Qualified Solicitor, or CILEX Lawyer focusing on Landlord and Tenant Litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional eager to develop their career in contentious property law within a supportive and dynamic environment. Day-to-day of the role: Manage fee-earning work under appropriate supervision, progressing cases through to conclusion with increasing autonomy. Handle a variety of landlord and tenant litigation matters, including possession proceedings, defended disputes, and complex cases. Draft legal documents, applications, pleadings, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with court directions, orders, and deadlines. Liaise effectively with clients, defendants, solicitors, courts, and managing agents, providing regular updates and maintaining high standards of client service. Issue possession claims via the Possession Claims Online system and prepare related legal documents such as notices seeking possession and instructions for advocates and counsel. Maintain accurate case management records and support the wider team with additional litigation-related tasks.
