Litigation Solicitor

A leading Legal 500 firm is seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join as an Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor (5+ PQE) within their Commercial and General Civil Litigation team. This Litigation Solicitor role offers the opportunity to work on complex and varied disputes within a well-established, friendly and growing team involved in nationally reported cases.Key Responsibilities for this Litigation Solicitor role:Manage a varied caseload of commercial and general civil litigation matters, including shareholder and company disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, PI, negligence, and property litigation.Draft, prepare and organise witness statements, pleadings and trial bundles.Conduct advocacy in the County Court and High Court where appropriate.Liaise with Counsel and manage external legal resources effectively.Undertake costs management, budgeting and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.Apply a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and related procedural requirements.Achieve billing, time recording and fee-earning targets, while supporting the firm''s credit control processes.Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.Provide strong advocacy in both County Court and High Court proceedings.Maintain excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures.Benefits for this Litigation Solicitor ..... full job details .....
