Litigation Solicitor

My client is recruiting for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their office in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This is an opportunity to join an established and progressive Dispute Resolution team, handling a broad range of litigation matters and working with a diverse client base. The role would suit a confident and commercially minded litigator who enjoys client contact and managing complex matters through to resolution. Key responsibilities will include: • Advising a diverse client base including corporate entities, trusts, charities and individuals. • Managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion. • Formulating case strategy and providing ongoing legal advice. • Handling a broad range of general, civil and commercial disputes. • Dealing with property litigation and contentious probate matters. • Drafting statements of case, witness statements, legal correspondence and other documentation. • Instructing and working with Counsel and other external professionals. • Representing clients at court, mediation and settlement negotiations. • Assisting with larger and more complex matters led by senior members of the team. • Supporting and supervising junior colleagues where appropriate. • Contributing to business development, networking and the continued growth of the team and firm.
