Trainee Litigation SolicitorAnnual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000Location: Newport, South WalesJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Litigation Solicitor to join our growing legal team in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified legal professional or trainee nearing qualification to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of contentious matters while working alongside experienced solicitors.Day-to-day of the role:Assist solicitors with the management of civil litigation matters from inception through to resolution.Draft legal documents, correspondence, witness statements, court applications, and pleadings.Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.Liaise with clients, counsel, courts, experts, and other third parties.Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.Attend client meetings, court hearings, mediations, and conferences where appropriate.Support dispute resolution processes, including negotiation and settlement discussions.Assist with case preparation for trial.Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, firm policies, and professional standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Essential:Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.Completion of the LPC, SQE, or currently undertaking the relevant qualification route.Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational skills with attention to ..... full job details .....
