Litigation Paralegal

Role: Litigation Paralegal Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 As a Litigation Paralegal within this established in-house legal team, you will support the management of legal recovery claims relating to commercial property and infrastructure damage. Working in a structured, high-volume environment, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload and progressing matters efficiently from initial instruction through to resolution. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing and assessing new damage claims received from external stakeholders, contractors and third parties, ensuring all relevant information and supporting evidence is accurate and complete. Managing a personal caseload of legal recovery matters from initial instruction through to final resolution, using internal case management systems to monitor progress, maintain accurate records and meet agreed service levels. Assessing claims at an early stage to establish potential liability, legal merit and recovery value, and determining whether matters meet the relevant criteria for further action or litigation. Liaising with third parties, insurers and legal representatives to negotiate settlements and resolve claims wherever possible, while protecting the organisation''s commercial interests.
