Service Care Legal are working with a North London Council seeking an experienced General Litigation Lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis. This is a varied role with a primary focus on home ownership matters, particularly leasehold service charge recovery in the First-tier Tribunal (FTT).Role
General Litigation LawyerLocation and Contract
Location: North London (1 day per week in office)Contract: 3-month ongoing interim contract, 36 hours per weekHours: 36 hours per weekRate: £45 – £55ph LTD / £48.46ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £43.24ph exc. holiday payResponsibilities
Manage a varied caseload with primary focus on home ownership mattersLeasehold service charge recovery in the First-tier Tribunal (FTT)Equality Act claimsGeneral debt recovery mattersOther general litigation as requiredRequirements
Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX – foreign qualified lawyers will be considered)Strong background in general litigationExperience managing a busy caseload with minimal supervisionKnowledge of housing and property-related litigation desirableHow to apply
