Role: Litigation and Debt Recovery Litigator Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Contract: Full time, permanent, Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Litigator / Litigation and Debt Recovery Executive to join a growing and dynamic legal team specialising in debt recovery, defended litigation and dispute resolution. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their litigation experience within a busy and supportive legal environment. You will assist with and manage a varied caseload of defended matters across small claims, fast-track and multi-track proceedings, gaining exposure to the full litigation process from initial assessment through to resolution. The role would suit a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing a busy caseload and getting involved in the practical day-to-day progression of litigation matters. Key Responsibilities Managing and progressing a caseload of defended litigation matters across small claims, fast-track and multi-track proceedings. Assisting with the review of pre-legal accounts and assessing the suitability of matters for litigation and recovery. Drafting and preparing pleadings, witness statements, applications and other court documentation. Preparing and reviewing trial bundles and supporting the progression of matters towards hearings and trial.
