Lithographic Print Assistant Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Permanent position Rate of pay £12.60 per hr A well-established commercial printer is looking for a Lithographic Print Assistant. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in print production who thrives in a fast- paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with make-ready tasks, plate loading, and press setup. • Perform wash-ups between jobs to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. • Manage consumables, stock levels, and ink preparation. • Support preventative maintenance and general housekeeping. • Monitor print quality and assist with job records and documentation. Skills and Experience: • Experience in a print production environment (lithographic or UV). • Basic understanding of press operations and print processes. • Familiarity with Man Roland R706 UV press (advantageous training available). • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
