Systems Administrator Salary: circa 45,000 Location: Basingstoke Job Type: Full-timeWe are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and system infrastructures. This role is ideal for someone with strong networking expertise, scripting capabilities, and solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, including hands-on experience in Microsoft cloud and workplace technologies.Day-to-day of the role:Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems.Design, implement, and support LAN infrastructure and network services.Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols and traffic optimisation.Automate operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems.Support and optimize the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and endpoint management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and automation projects.Ensure system performance, security, and reliability across environments.Document configurations, processes, and best practices.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of LAN switching technologies and IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).Knowledge of QoS (Quality of Service) and DSCP tagging.Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.Strong knowledge of Windows environments (server and client) and Linux systems administration.Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (O365), Intune (Endpoint Management), and Entra ID (Azure AD).Exposure to automation and ..... full job details .....
