Linux Site Reliability Engineer 6 Months London/Hybrid 530- 580 per day (Inside IR35) Initially 4 days per week onsite, reducing to 2 days per week onsite over time.My client in the financial sector are seeking 2 Linux Site Reliability Engineers to join a global engineering team supporting a sophisticated, business-critical trading platform.The organisation operates a complex, globally distributed technology environment supporting systematic trading activity. The Linux estate is central to its operations, with a strong focus on availability, resilience, security and performance.This is a hands-on engineering role combining production support with continuous platform improvement. You will take ownership of the Linux environment across the APAC/EMEA operating day, working closely with colleagues in London and New York as part of a global follow-the-sun support model.A key focus will be improving the environment through Linux patching, automation, scripting and reducing repetitive manual processes. This is an engineering-focused position rather than a traditional ticket-based support role.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, maintain and support a business-critical Linux production environment.Proactively investigate and resolve production incidents, taking ownership through to resolution.Troubleshoot Linux, infrastructure and platform-related issues.Manage Linux patching and lifecycle activities across on-premise and cloud environments.Develop scripts and automation to improve ..... full job details .....
