Linux RHEL Engineer - SC Cleared - Inside IR35 - Hybrid 2/3 days per week My client seeks to recruit an experienced Linux engineer - support in maintenance, upgrades and general house keepingCore Competencies Previous experience in a technical position within Linux platform support and/or delivery Familiarity with request, problem and project management processes and tools Detail oriented, process driven, highly innovative mindset, with deeply engrained sense of ownership for the projects delivered Adept at stakeholder communications, from senior level to domain-wide engagement events A broad and deep understanding of best practice in applying appropriate processes, technologies, and resources to deliver a high quality solutions Experienced in managing risk, compliance, audit and security obligations, including implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures Mandatory Technical Skills Experience of managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux production systems (RHEL 7 through to 10) Experience of using Scripting to automate tasks Planning and prioritising of project delivery activities Good interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience with virtualisation technologies (Linux under VMWare) Experience of working within the ITIL framework Experience of managing systems with RHN satellite Desirable Experience with JBoss Linux performance tuning skills Experience with Linux failover ..... full job details .....
