Linux QA Engineer

Job Purpose:We are looking for a super-sharp Test Engineer to work in our Agile development teams. You will be working in a great atmosphere on stimulating projects with other talented test engineers. We will need you to provide high quality testing services to the engineering team, working with other testers assigned to a project. You will be working closely with developers and the product owner. Out testing work involves gaining a deep understanding of the product so that you can focus your testing activities.Principle Duties And Responsibilities:Gain a deep technical understanding of the product you are testing to a developer levelWorking with developers, other testers and product experts, write effective and efficient testsCarry out both formally scripted and exploratory testingActively participate in sprint planning and other project group activitiesEssential Skills And Experience:EssentialMinimum three years'' experience working as a testerDemonstrable ability to write efficient and effective manual testsA strong interest in the technical side of information technology and software developmentWorking knowledge of Ubuntu or other Linux distributionsUse of defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray)Comfortable using command line toolsDebug / troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication, both written and verbalSTEM degree or similar equivalent qualificationsDesirableDemonstrable experience with networkingKnowledge of vulnerability management and CVE best practicesQualities:Team ..... full job details .....
