      <description>Location: City of London | Salary: &amp;pound;300 - &amp;pound;350/day | Type: Contract | Senior Linux / Unix Automation Engineer  London 3 days on the office   9 Months Contract + Extension   -350 a day Inside IR35   A well established firm is looking for an experienced  Systems Engineer who brings solid Unix and Linux administration experience alongside hands-on infrastructure automation skill to join their current team on contract basis.   In this role, you will help manage, test, and automate core enterprise compute and networking platforms. Rather than relying on manual setups, you will write automation code to streamline software and hardware certifications, manage plant infrastructure, and deliver infrastructure-on-demand for internal engineering teams.   What You Will Be Doing     Automating Systems:  Build clean Python and Ansible code to remove repetitive setup, patching, and configuration tasks across enterprise infrastructure.   API Integration:  Connect infrastructure endpoints via REST APIs to deliver self-service, automated compute and network environments.
