Provide Linux systems administration and support, focusing on reliability and performance.Deploy, configure, and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and related environments.Manage virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.Use infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible to streamline tasks and deployments.Configure and maintain PHP with Apache in a LAMP stack environment.Deploy and administer Red Hat Satellite for package inclusions/exclusions.Integrate Microsoft Active Directory where required.Manage Postfix email packages and basic mail-related configurations.Understand networking fundamentals and basic firewall operations.Utilize monitoring tools and perform performance tuning to maintain system health.Document configurations, changes, and procedures; communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.Qualifications
Proven experience in Linux systems administration (e.g., RHEL, CentOS).Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware.Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python and Bash.Solid knowledge of MySQL database administration.Familiarity with the LAMP stack and configuring PHP with Apache.Experience with Red Hat Satellite for package management.Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory integration.Familiarity with Postfix email package.Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic firewall operations.Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.Strong documentation and communication skills.Job details
