Line of Business Financial Controller

Your new company A leading international financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join its Financial Control team. Working within a highly regulated environment, you will partner closely with Front Office, Product Control, Operations and senior Finance stakeholders, supporting the integrity of financial reporting across a complex trading business.Your new role As a Finance Controller, you will take ownership of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for designated business areas, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Key responsibilities will include:Producing detailed PandL and balance sheet analysis with insightful month-on-month, quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year commentaryPerforming balance sheet reconciliations, substantiation and control reviewsMonitoring and resolving ledger breaks, suspense accounts and reconciliation issuesSupporting Head Office, regulatory and statutory reporting requirementsCoordinating risk and control assessments and maintaining a strong financial control frameworkLiaising with Product Control, Operations and business stakeholders to investigate financial reporting issues and improve processesSupporting financial statement disclosures under IFRSAssisting with audit reviews, SOX controls and regulatory compliance activities.Contributing to finance transformation, process improvement and data-driven initiativesWhat you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ..... full job details .....
