Line LeaderSalary: £35 38k Location: Reading Hours: 6:30am 3pm Monday to Friday Job Type: 6 month ContractRate: £18-21 Umbrella or £15-16 PAYEAbout the Line LeaderWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Line Leader to oversee a team within an engineering environment. You will manage a team of assemblers, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all production activities. This role is central to maintaining workflow, meeting output targets, and driving continuous improvement across the department.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role, enjoys problem solving, and is passionate about developing people and processes.Key Responsibilities of the Line LeaderLead, support, and develop a team of operators, including performance management and regular feedbackAllocate daily tasks and plan workloads, including smooth handovers between early and late shiftsEnsure production output is delivered on time and to the required quality standardsInvestigate and resolve issues affecting production performance, implementing corrective actionsCommunicate daily priorities and critical tasks to the Production ManagerCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve processes and resolve manufacturability issuesUsing ERP systemReading drawingsBill of MaterialsEssential Experience and Skills of the Line Leader2 years experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience working with ..... full job details .....
