The role will involve the successful candidate being responsible for the lighting planned maintenance and emergency repair work in approximately 100+ retail stores to pre-determined standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the company Health and Safety policy. Key Responsibilities: To respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary. To complete the PPM schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. To identify non-repairable faults in lighting equipment and promptly advise the Area Maintenance Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. To advise the Store Manager of any repair and maintenance issues relating to lighting that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store.
