Stroud | -12.82 per hour | Monday to Thursday, 06:30am - 4:00pm



Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where attention to detail and precision are valued? Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Stroud, seeking a Precision Assembly Operative to join their friendly and supportive production team.

This role involves the assembly and manufacture of specialist electrical components, with a strong focus on coil winding, fine assembly work, soldering, and quality inspection. It is ideal for someone with excellent manual dexterity, good eyesight, and the ability to work accurately with small components.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coil winding to customer specifications, engineering drawings and samples.
  • Assembling small and intricate components to required quality standards.
  • Hand soldering wires, cables, connectors and electrical components.
  • Soldering and crimping wires, cables and connectors using specialist tooling.
  • Application of tapes, insulating materials and specialist resins.
  • Carrying out product testing and inspection procedures in line with customer and company requirements.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications.
  • Performing visual quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Accurately recording production and quality data.


Skills & Experience



Essential

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Good eyesight and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with small, intricate components.
  • Strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.


Desirable

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Coil winding experience.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience within electronics, electrical assembly or precision manufacturing environments.
