Lifting Inspection Technician Location: TeessideThe Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are pleased to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced Lifting Inspection Technician to join their team on Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lifting professional to take on a varied, customer-facing position where safety, compliance and technical expertise are at the heart of the role. Working across a range of customer sites and industries, you will be responsible for carrying out statutory inspections, testing and thorough examinations of lifting equipment and accessories, ensuring full compliance with LOLER and PUWER requirements. The Role As Lifting Inspection Technician, you will take responsibility for ensuring lifting equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose. You will inspect and test a wide range of equipment including chain slings, wire rope slings, shackles, hooks, eyebolts and racking, accurately recording findings and providing customers with clear guidance on defects, remedial actions and ongoing compliance. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out statutory thorough examinations and inspections in accordance with LOLER and PUWER. Inspecting and testing lifting equipment, accessories and associated machinery. Identifying defects, unsafe conditions and areas of non-compliance.
