Lift Inspection Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Lift Inspection Engineer to join their growing team. This vacancy has arisen due to business expansion. While the head office is in Bromley, this role is specifically targeted at candidates living in Milton Keynes, Northampton, or surrounding areas.

The role involves inspections on lifts and pressure systems. Candidates with experience inspecting either lifts or pressure systems, and holding a minimum NVQ Level 3, are encouraged to apply.

This role offers a salary of -40,00045,000 depending on experience, company vehicle, healthcare benefits, and door-to-door pay for travel time.

Job Overview

• Conduct insurance inspections of passenger and domestic lifts.
• Adhere to company health and safety legislation.
• Provide reports detailing refurbishment options or potential replacement.
• Carry out visual surveys and audits for lifts & pressure systems.
• Travel independently to customer sites in the Milton Keynes, Northampton, and wider home counties area, with door-to-door pay for travel time.
• Work methodically, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
• Keep records and paperwork up to date.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Clear routes to progression available within the company.

Requirements

• Experience in independently diagnosing/repairing lifts or pressure systems.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong administrative skills.

Salary & Benefits

• 7:30am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday).
