Lift Engineer
A well-established, family-run lift engineering business is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to join a small, dedicated team covering the Lincolnshire region.Role Overview of a Lift EngineerThis is a field-based role focused initially on service and repair of lifts, with the opportunity to progress into installation work over time (with full training provided). You will be fully embedded within a supportive engineering team.You will work across a variety of sites including commercial buildings, residential properties, schools, and care environments.Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer Service, maintenance, and repair of lift systemsResponding to breakdowns and emergency call-outsFault finding and diagnosing mechanical/electrical issuesCompleting service reports via tabletEnsuring compliance with safety and industry standardsLiaising professionally with clients and site contactsSupporting installation work when trained and requiredWorking flexibly as part of a responsive engineering team Hours and Working Pattern 40 hours per week (standard hours: 8am 4pm)Reactive work required depending on lift breakdownsFlexibility is essential, as call-outs can varyFlexibility works both ways time can be given back or adjusted when engineers exceed hoursEarly finishes may be available where workload allows and commitments are met Salary and Benefits £38,000 per year starting salaryOvertime paid at:Time and a half (after 10pm)Double time (weekends and bank holidays)Company van provided ..... full job details .....
