      <description>Location: Gainsborough | Salary: &amp;pound;38000/annum | Type: Permanent | A well-established, family-run lift engineering business is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to join a small, dedicated team covering the Lincolnshire region.   Role Overview of a Lift Engineer   This is a field-based role focused initially on service and repair of lifts, with the opportunity to progress into installation work over time (with full training provided). You will be fully embedded within a supportive engineering team.  You will work across a variety of sites including commercial buildings, residential properties, schools, and care environments.   Key Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer    Service, maintenance, and repair of lift systems  Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs  Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues  Completing service reports via tablet  Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards  Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts  Supporting installation work when trained and required  Working flexibly as part of a responsive engineering team    Hours &amp; Working Pattern    40 hours per week (standard hours: 8am – 4pm)  Reactive work required depending on lift breakdowns  Flexibility is essential, as call-outs...</description>
