About the Role
The Lift Engineer role is based in York, offering a full-time, permanent position with a salary between £37,000 and £41,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The position involves installing, servicing, and repairing a range of lifts, including passenger, goods, platform, and stairlifts. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing faults, and conducting repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires a qualified engineer with proven experience in lift systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a valid driving licence. A company vehicle, phone, tools, and PPE are provided. The working pattern includes weekly emergency cover.

The company has been trading since 1998 and all their engineers are fully trained and qualified in installing, servicing and repairing lifts. They work on a variety of lifts including passenger/goods lifts, platform lifts, service lifts, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts and hoists.
You will be provided with a company vehicle, phone and all required tools/equipment and PPE.
About The Role:
The Job available will be for a full-time engineer including weekly emergency cover on a rota basis.
The applicant will preferably have at least NVQ level 3 Maintenance qualification, but allowances can be made depending on experience.
• Reside within the Yorkshire/Humberside area
• Have a full and preferably clean licence
• Flexible with good communication skills
