Salary: -45,00050,000 basic salary (DOE)

Coverage: Bristol, South West, Devon & Somerset
Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join an established lift business operating across Bristol and the South West. The successful engineer will service, maintain, and repair customer lifts, respond to breakdowns, and ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant.

• Service and maintain customer passenger and goods lifts.
• Repair or replace lift components and carry out technical repairs.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, diagnose faults and rectify issues.
• Carry out safety checks and risk assessments.
• Manage your workload and assigned service route effectively.
• Maintain van stock and identify parts required for repairs.
• Recommend parts and equipment required to keep lifts compliant.
• Complete service records, reports and relevant documentation.
• Work professionally with customers and site contacts.
• Participate in an out-of-hours / standby rota where required.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times.

• Experienced Lift Service Engineer, Lift Repair Engineer or Lift Call-Out Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and able to travel.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing passenger lifts.
• Good knowledge of lift safety and H&S requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer-care skills.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to use initiative and take ownership of personal development.
• Experience with traction and hydraulic lift equipment would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working as part of an out-of-hours rota.
