Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established engineering team covering South Wales. This role is suited to an engineer with strong service, maintenance, and fault-finding experience across a range of lift systems. The position offers a mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support across commercial and residential sites.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on lift systems
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding and repairs
• Ensure lifts are operating safely, reliably, and in line with regulations
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records
• Liaise professionally with site contacts and customers
• Support compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
• Work independently across assigned sites within South Wales

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer (service, maintenance, or breakdown)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working with a range of lift types and manufacturers
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence
