REClifts is now recruiting for a qualified Lift Engineer to join a well-established Lift Engineering company that will support your career development and progression.

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of passenger lifts across the South London area
• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and complete effective fault diagnosis
• Complete both minor and major repairs to lift equipment including motors, door gear, safety edges, valve seals, autodiallers, etc.
• Work independently across a designated route and ensure high standards of service delivery
• Accurately report any equipment faults and liaise with the Service or Repairs Manager for escalated support when required
• Communicate professionally with clients and residents while on-site, maintaining a positive company image
• Adhere to company health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with lift industry regulations at all times

Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

• Industry-relevant qualification - NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering - Essential
• Full, clean UK driving licence - Essential
• 3+ years of experience working on UK passenger lifts - Essential
• Proven experience in servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across multiple lift manufacturers.
