Life Skills Cookery TeacherLocation: Old Hall Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3AU Pay Rate: 30.32 per hour Hours: 22 hours per week (15 teaching hours and 7 hours preparation, marking and administration) Contract: Temporary assignment until December 2026 DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS requiredThe OpportunityWe are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Life Skills Cookery Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to learners with Additional Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (ALDD). This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by helping students develop essential life skills, independence and confidence through practical learning.We are particularly interested in candidates who hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification. However, applications are also welcomed from individuals with relevant teaching experience, a passion for supporting learners with additional needs, and a commitment to developing their teaching practice.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and inclusive Life Skills and Cookery lessonsSupport learners to develop independence, confidence and practical everyday skillsCreate a positive and supportive learning environment for students with ALDDPrepare lesson materials and resourcesComplete associated administration, marking and lesson planningMonitor learner progress and provide appropriate supportTeaching Sessions AvailableCandidates do not need to be available for all sessions.
