Location: Birmingham
Hours: Part-time, Tuesday–Thursday, 5:00am–10:30am
Pay: £13–£15 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, mature, and detail-focused individual to carry out weekly fire alarm testing and monthly emergency lighting checks across the University campus. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly fire alarm testing across the entire site
- Carry out monthly emergency lighting checks
- Accurately complete paperwork and record findings while on the job
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times when on-site
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physically fit, this role involves continuous walking across a large campus
- Smart, polite, and professional, this is a prestigious site
- Able to follow training and safety procedures carefully
