The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing licensing applications within a local authority setting. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in licensing administration, particularly in areas such as Taxi Licensing, Alcohol Licensing, and other regulatory sectors. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a varied workload, meet statutory deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels and must have previously worked in a local authority setting.Day-to-day of the role:Oversee and manage two email licensing inboxes.Process various licensing applications and collate necessary information.Arrange and facilitate committee meetings and conduct checks on licensing applications.Address and resolve complaints related to licensing applications.Maintain accurate and appropriate notes and records.Manage a small team, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications:Educated to degree level or possess extensive experience in licensing administration/enforcement or other regulatory roles.Significant experience in Licensing, specifically including Taxi Licensing and ..... full job details .....
