Licensed Engineer

Our client, an established organisation within the aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector, is seeking a Licensed Engineer to join its Inverness-based engineering team. Reporting to the Chief Technician, the role will support line and base aircraft maintenance activities at the Inverness base, with occasional travel to other operating or temporary bases, including overnight stays. This is a permanent position operating primarily Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. Working hours may vary to meet operational requirements and can include weekend work or additional hours.Key Responsibilities:Support line and base aircraft maintenance activities at the Inverness base and other approved locationsComplete aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice and company authorisationsCertify completed maintenance work within the scope of applicable licences and authorisationsIdentify, document and record aircraft defects following accurate debriefs with operational crew membersCarry out maintenance activities safely, efficiently and in compliance with company policies, processes and proceduresSupervise and provide guidance to engineering and support personnel when requiredEnsure the correct use, care and maintenance of tooling and support equipmentSupport aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, cleaning and wider operational activities as requiredJob Requirements:Aircraft maintenance experience within an ..... full job details .....
