HGV Class 1 ADR Driver / LGV1 Driver (Cat C+E) – Days & Nights – Central Scotland

Pay Rate: £17.45 – £21.49 per hour (PAYE)

Job Description:
Recruitment Alba are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers (LGV1 / Cat C+E) for our client operating across multiple depots in Central Scotland (Alloa / Glasgow).

We have a range of opportunities available, including dayshift and nightshift, with both full-time and ad hoc shifts to suit your availability.

This role involves trunking, running and dropping, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of goods in line with ADR regulations.

Key Duties:

• Trunking, running and dropping loads between depots
• Ensuring all driving is carried out safely and in line with regulations
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Adhering to driver hours, tachograph and ADR compliance

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Valid ADR Licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 / ADR driving experience preferred
• Strong understanding of transport and safety regulations

Pay & Benefits (PAYE):

• Days: £17.45 per hour
• Day Overtime: £19.78 per hour
• Nights (all hours): £20.24 per hour
• Weekends: £21.49 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £21.49 per hour
• Holiday pay accrued on every shift
• Flexible working to suit full-time or ad hoc availability
• Immediate starts available
