Van Technician / Vehicle Technician Location: Birmingham (Central) Salary: 18.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week Working Hours: 10-hour shifts between 06:00 and 18:30 We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Van Technician to join a busy workshop in Central Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to work within a professional environment, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on light commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults. Performing vehicle inspections and identifying defects. Completing repairs to manufacturer and company standards. Carrying out MOT preparation and MOT testing (where qualified). Ensuring all workshop paperwork is completed accurately. Maintaining a safe and organised work environment. Requirements NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Van Technician or Service Technician. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
