LGV Mechanic Bedford £17.64 per hour 45 hours per week Temp-to-Perm PotentialWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bedford, who is looking for an experienced LGV Mechanic to join their commercial vehicle workshop.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic with experience working on LGVs and commercial vehicles, looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.The Role Pay: £17.64 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week Working hours: Between 06:00 and 18:00 Location: Bedford Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent employment Experience working with LGVs and Class B vehicles is highly desirable Ideally, candidates will hold a relevant driving licence Key Responsibilities As an LGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and assigned mechanical duties safely and efficiently, in accordance with company procedures, safety rules and relevant regulations.Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out mechanical tasks and repairs safely and in accordance with instructions and company procedures. Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues and others who may be affected by your work. Identifying and reporting unsafe practices, conditions or potential hazards to your supervisor or line manager.
