Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Whitefield, Bury

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school in Whitefield for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming school community where every member of staff plays an important role in helping pupils succeed.

The successful candidate will provide classroom support across the primary age range, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping pupils to achieve their full potential. You will also support small intervention groups and provide one-to-one assistance where required.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to providing high-quality support within the classroom.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
• Delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Working with individuals and small groups to raise attainment.
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers.
• Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Has previous experience working within a UK primary school.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Has a positive, flexible and proactive attitude.
• Is passionate about supporting children''s learning.
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
